From January 2 to 4, 2024, the research group held an important year-end summary meeting, which was attended by all members of the research group.
First of all, the junior students in the group made a report on the data analysis. They reported the recent progress of data analysis, and put forward the difficulties and questions encountered in the process of data processing, and the teachers and students answered these questions in detail and put forward their own suggestions on possible problems. The senior students then shared their progress and revisions in writing the essay. Teachers and other students pointed out the problems in the essay based on their conceptual models and diagrams, and discussed and suggested revisions, and through communication and discussion, the students gained a deeper knowledge and understanding of the essay writing. Finally, Professor Wan Shiqiang shared his experimental design ideas. Based on his own research experience, he introduced the principles and methods of experimental design, and shared some interesting ecological phenomena he found in his daily life, encouraging students to be good at observation and thinking in daily life, which laid a solid foundation for future research work.
The successful holding of this laboratory summary conference not only enhanced the students' article writing ability, but also improved the confidence and work efficiency of the students in the research group. It is expected that under the careful guidance of the teachers and the joint efforts of all members of the research group, the research work of the research group will achieve more fruitful results.
